Founded by Stephanus Mulyadi in 2013, the Merangat Foundation is a nonprofit in Kapuas Hulu, West Kalimantan, dedicated to preserving indigenous culture through traditional crafts like weaving and braiding. We support local artisans, promote economic development, and use social media to share information on skill development, education, and local culture. Our efforts include establishing educational and health facilities and collaborating with partners to advance our mission.
The Merangat Foundation is committed to protecting the preservation of nature, culture, and humanity with the principles of sustainability and innovation.
Through training, marketing of handicraft products, and preserving local cultural identity, the Merangat-foundation protects nature, culture, and humanity while creating new economic opportunities.
